Microphone: To record your interview practice responses for AI-powered transcription and feedback
Camera: For live camera preview during interview practice sessions and eye contact tracking

Audio recordings are processed to provide feedback and are stored securely. You can delete your recordings at any time.

Location Data

With your permission, we collect location data to:

Show relevant job opportunities in your area
Display salaries in your local currency

Platform-Specific Features

The following sections describe how certain features work on Apple devices.

Face Data and TrueDepth Camera (Eye Contact Tracking)

On Apple devices, our app uses Apple's ARKit framework and the TrueDepth camera (on supported devices) to track your eye contact. This feature helps you improve your non-verbal communication skills.

What We Collect:

Face orientation and gaze direction to determine if you are looking at the camera
Eye contact percentage calculated from gaze tracking data

What We Do NOT Collect:

Facial geometry, face mesh, or 3D face maps
Biometric data or facial recognition identifiers
Facial expressions or emotion data
Face images, photos, or face prints

How Face Data is Processed:

On-device processing only: All face tracking is performed locally on your device using Apple's ARKit framework. Raw face tracking data never leaves your device.
Real-time processing: Gaze direction data is processed in real-time and immediately discarded after calculating the eye contact percentage.
No biometric identification: We do not use face data to identify you or any other person.

Storage and Sharing:

Stored: Only the calculated eye contact percentage (a simple number) is stored as part of your session analytics.
Not shared: Face data and eye contact metrics are never shared with third parties.
Deletion: Eye contact metrics are deleted when you delete your interview session or account.

You can disable camera access at any time in your device settings, which will disable the eye contact tracking feature.

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

Provide and improve our interview preparation services
Generate personalized interview questions using AI
Analyze your responses and provide feedback
Show relevant job recommendations
Communicate with you about your account

Subscriptions

We offer auto-renewing in-app subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings. We do not receive or store your full payment details; Apple processes payments on our behalf. We access subscription status information from Apple to verify your entitlements and provide premium features. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted cloud platform. We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Supabase: For secure data storage and authentication
Groq AI: For generating interview questions and analyzing responses

These services have their own privacy policies governing the use of your information.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time through the app settings.

Delete your account and data
Withdraw consent for optional features (microphone, camera, location)

Children's Privacy

Our app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
